As the days get longer and the temperatures rise, it’s finally time to ditch the big heavy coats. The right transition jacket or coat can be hard to find, but a timeless classic is always the trenchcoat. It’s light, has a classic shape and you can decide for yourself whether or not you want a light color or if you want to stick with the darker colors for a while longer.
Perhaps you’re looking for a shorter jacket after having spent months in a coat. In this case, you can shop for bomber jackets, a varsity jacket or something completely different. The great thing with spring is that you can start venturing into colors again!
Another timeless classic is a leather jacket. You decide if you want a short or a long, but no matter what, you’ll easily transform any outfit with a great looking leather piece.
Even though the temperatures are on the rise, you might still need a thin layer underneath your jacket to keep you warm. We suggest thin jumpers! They’re great for that extra bit of heat but won’t interfere with the look of your new jacket. It’s a win/win.

It might not be summer yet, but the sun’s finally out and you know what that means: Sunglasses! To be fair, we’ll wear sunglasses all day everyday no matter the season. Sunglasses can definitely make an outfit stand out that tiny bit more and they make it possible to infuse any look with a bit of personality. No matter if you’re a classic girl with an affinity for the cat-eye shape or a TikTok girl who loves spacecore, transitioning into spring is the perfect time to shop for a new pair of secondhand sunnies.
Spring doesn’t equal warmth and you might need a little something to keep you warm. Have you seen the mini scarves around, because we for sure have! It’s a thin scarf to wrap around your neck once or twice. it doesn’t seem like much, but if you buy one in wool it’ll definitely help keep you warm.
It’s finally time to kick back and get rid of the heavy boots. Of course you can still wear your boots – perhaps you just need to adjust the styling to make them more spring appropriate. If you wear a nice skirt, a short jacket (new perhaps?), a skinny scarf and a pair of boots you’ll be ready to bring your old items well into spring.
Are you however looking to change things up? A great lighter alternative to boots is a pair of loafers. They’re versatile, they’re trendy yet classic and depending on what kind of sole you go for, they’re practical. What’s not to love? If you want to take the more sporty route this spring, another alternative is a pair of sneakers. A pair of sneakers is a great way to experiment with colors for the spring and in that way bring something new to your spring wardrobe.

The days are longer and brighter and that means you can start adding more colorful and playful pieces into your wardrobe. If you want something small, the mini bags from Jacquemus are a must – experimental shapes, great materials and a plethora of colors.
If you’re looking for something a bit bigger, a nice alternative is the Canapa tote from Prada. This is available in a tonne of colors as well but is a bit bigger and will be able to accommodate you better if you’re in need of more essentials on the go.
When it comes to the changing of seasons, adding a new bag to your wardrobe might seem like a small change but it’ll have such a massive effect on your outfits. It’s definitely an investment that’ll quickly start paying itself off.
No matter what kind of bag you’re looking for – size, color, material, brand – going from winter to spring is the perfect time to start looking for it. It’s a new year, new season – it calls for a new wardrobe.
